Great collection Aldo! Thank you for sharing it. I really like the 50th anniversary skull. I do agree with you that these Braunschweig skulls have a great look. I think for me it has to do with the more pronounced crossbones and shape of the skull. If you study these type of skulls you will find out that there are many small variations in them. Different eye cavity sizes and angles they are positioned in. Then there are the heart and half moon shaped nose cavities and open ones without the nasal septum. I still want a very well made one for myself. The one i have now has some nice features, but has some crude finishing and lacks the silver finish for the most part.
My other piece of a braunschweiger skull is in the form of the 100th Anniversary of IR 92 badge that has a small skull on it at the bottom. Probably one of my rarest pieces in my collection, but not with the look of the skulls that are shown above. It looks more like the stickpin you are showing. I know a dealer that sells one, but i can find little information about this one...
Looking forward to anyone that can show his braunschweiger skull related pieces here. Cheers

Great stuff Dos! That 100th anniversary badge is super. Chopperman has a great Brunswick skull with provenance which I hope he posts here.
Finally --- A skull thread that I can be a part of
I have only one to contribute.
This one belonged to Günther Clausen who joined IR92 in 1912.
I was lucky enough to get some of his original paperwork and photos.

Awesome Greg ! you were already posting it as I wrote. Now we need Robin Lumsden to post his extensive collection
very nice collection Aldo ! ! ! really awesome collection! Dos skulls are also great and Greg's skull has a history that not everyone has congrats!. I envy you all a little, unfortunately I don't own any . perhaps in the future ...
Very cool Greg!
Your skull has different shapes i have not seen before on any other braunschweiger skulls. Not even mentioning the stone hard provenance that goes with it. Very rare to see!
Thank you Kekel
