The other helmet arrived today, an M26 painted in light grey with yellow stencil insignia as used by the Policia Armada aka "Los Grises" I believe these were used immediately post war during the Franco regime.

Just thought I'd revisit this after learning that a (very) distant cousin served in Franco's Air Force during the Spanish revolution and beyond. Gives me a new appreciation for the subject.

I just picked up this beautifully enameled badge as worn by nurses affiliated with the Falange party. These are often described as used during civil war era and and subsequently with the Blue division during WWII. Many of these are serial numbered this one is not. A neat little badge for a small price.
