A Wehrmacht Infantry NCO, Eastern Front 1943

Article about: Hi collectors! Recently bought my first tunic and also a tailors bust to go with it (felt I needed one to display the tunic properly). Modified the bust slightly, by fixing a styrofoam head

Love it! Sure looks like they’d make great friends!
What kind of MP40 is that (replica, softair, real demilled..)? I really want one for my collection as well, but a real one isn’t possible due to Sweden’s strict weapons laws...

Thanks! It’s a generic styrofoam head-shape from a hobby store: I shortened the neck it came with and carved a 3 inch deep hole into the bottom, to fix it to the ”post” sticking out of the tailors bust top. I then used masking tape to sculpt basic facial features: I wanted it to be obscure & anonymous to symbolize that it could be ”any soldier”, but still recognizible as a human face. I finally got a pair of thicker nylons / pantyhose, cut one leg off and pulled that over the head and neck.
