Oh and if it helps to identify anything I live in South-Western Germany =]
The broken ring with the numbers is part of an artillery fuze timer, it looks like a British.
I'm with shadowwolf on that; looks like some bits of the detonator of a British shell. Buckle is a bit earilier; I would say a 18th or 19th century shoe buckle.
Keep the finds coming! You live in a good part of Europe for detecting! (not very far from me by the way)
Thanks guys! I will research that timer a little more now. As for the buckle it would make sense to be that old. It was buried about 8 inches under the ground where as the other finds were maybe 2.
Some nice bits there. Good start I suggest you have a look at the following thread.....

Thanks for the tips Steve. My friends have been doing this for almost three years but I couldnt hold out any longer. I enjoyed detecting with them but I would see what they'd find and be jealous. Figured it was time for me to get my own.
Good for you ! Get yourself out there and get those relics recovered !
I see that it says you live in Sefferweich. I also live there and am looking for someone to join me out detecting. The woods behind my house are also promising. Found a unmarked grave stone and some old ruins with a German 88 next to it sitting on the surface.
That broken piece of fuse is a super find for your
first outing.........!
Regards,
Steve.
