1940s Soviet Flag?
Hi guys. I've got an opportunity to buy this flag. It looks like an 11 Republic flag (does that make it WWII or earlier?) but I'm wondering why the Republic banners are blank. The stitching is really nice and it is of similar material to my 1930s Young Pioneers banner, but I'm sure there are more knowledgeable people than me on this forum. Any thoughts on its originality would be appreciated and an idea what a reasonable price to pay would be.

Hmm 11 republics would mean anywhere from 1936 to 1946.

Some more close up pics will help but I do not like it. And not only because it is a red flag:-).

Re: 1940s Soviet Flag?
11 ribbons would be WWII era, but the material of this flag doesn't look even close to being that old.

Re: 1940s Soviet Flag?
It is supposed to be original, but without the seeing the reverce it is impossible to say the branch of this flag
