I think it's an original one, most probably from the 1980s. Such flags aren't very rare as they used to be produced en masse in their respective SSRs. A very nice addition nonetheless! Here is mine for comparison. I think it's from roughly the same period

No, the rarer republic flags are Georgian and Armenian. And also any republic flags made before 1953, because they were usually thrown out or recycled or lost in attics or basements. Raul
