Could use some help with this EKM example

I don’t know if this EKM looks authentic or is later fake. I don’t know what to look for
with regards to the font, etc.
I’ve read the sticky’s but become even more confused.

Apologies, the EKM has a dark color and the fonts is difficult to see.
Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

Everything.

Just a couple points: A soldier's weapon system or combat vehicle (Marder III) would NOT be on their EKM. Furthermore, Panzer-Regiment 8 was a tank unit, not anti-tank. The Marder III was issued to Panzer-Jäger anti-tank units.

Unique, in so far as I’ve never seen a concoction like this one before. The bright flash rust also lends nothing positive to the story.
