"D. MIL.KART. INST. WARSCHAU" = "Deutsches Militär-Kartographisches Institut Warschau" [German Military Cartographic Institute, Warsaw].
I cannot comment on authenticity.
I have checked and Germans took the Polish Army Map institute building in 1939 and They were called Kriegskarten- und Vermessungswesensamt Warschau, They produce maps for Wermacht. Building was destroyed during Warsaw uprising,
Photos of the building from 1939 and from nowadays.
Yeah I think it's okay and rare piece, I am thinking about making an offer to the guy who got it.
AND the memory wall for those who were killed by Nazis during WW2 ( for the workers of that Army Map unit)
Pretty rare set, the second tag has good original characteristics in the photos.
