On December 21, 1944, the 203rd Security Division was reclassified into the 203rd Infantry Division on the front between Bobr and the Narew area in Poland.
The division was part of the LV in the Soviet major offensive against East Prussia in January 1945. Army corps of Army Group Center on the Narew Front north of Łomża destroyed by the Soviet 48th Army. The last remnants of the unit went into Soviet captivity on the Hela peninsula in April 1945.
