Look at your picture and the picture with the green background. The tags have the same fonts but different types of dog tags (blanks).

But the green an my, looks like stainless steal?

Yes it is, both are stainless. But the oval shape is deffernet.

Thank you very much Nord, it was a very frustrating week for me, possible 3 fake EKM's from famous dealers in one week. Think this is new world record.

Famous dealers are humans to. They can't have or don't have 100% knowledge about every piece of TR militaria. You should know the dealers make mistakes too. I hope you can send it back to the dealer.

It was not unusual that a unit used different types of blanks.
Anyway Karpfen's tag seems to be a ground find blank with faked stamp marking.
I'm sure the dealer will take it back and we will see it again...

Hi Nord! The EKM with green background is mine. Do you truly believe it is copy? It was said real on this forum previously, so I would like to clarify my piece!
