Gebirgsjäger??

Article about: Hello guys, do you think it could be Gebirgsjäger Ersatz Bataillon 98-Stammkompanie. But what I see is a C and not a G or was that dot made above the C to make it a G? Any help is welcome.

    I think you might be correct with your ID Francesco. Maybe a peculiar stamping for the 2 Kompanie that the letter G was missing. I don't have anything to compare it to. Another if your finds?
