German/Croatian ID disc - fake?

I obtained this dog tag from a less reputable auction house, and now that I have visited this site I am wondering if it is a fake, although it is hard to see why one would choose a Croatian police company for a fake.

I do not like it. The photos are not clear but the font and especially that of the numbers are a red flag for me.

Got to agree with Rik, it isn't a good one, wrong font altogether. It did exist and had 4 kompanies from 1944, but this is not an original.
