Not to hijack the thread but I had a quick search and found a couple of interesting bits about the American Grave registration process.

WWII Grave registration
The information on these fallen soldiers is now held by the Bundesarchiv. These labels were discarded when the temporary markers were replaced by more permanent graves markers. On the American personnel examples the location of the grave is stamped as well. Sadly the German ones do not.
Is there a way to put names with these tags?
