The information on these fallen soldiers is now held by the Bundesarchiv. These labels were discarded when the temporary markers were replaced by more permanent graves markers. On the American personnel examples the location of the grave is stamped as well. Sadly the German ones do not.by theduke635
Is there a way to put names with these tags?
Not really. The Bundesarchiv does not give this information unless you are next of kin of one
of the fallen soldiers and have prove of this.
The only other way is buying a erkennungsmarke that is complete with the matching soldbuch.
