The Stamm Kompanie was the cadre around which the Bataillon was built, as it supplied replacements for 7th Pz Div later. The unit served in Poland and later in Russia. It is difficult to say for sure whether the owner served on the Ostfront or not. But if it was found in Russia then it is quite possible.

I'm understood, thank you. I do not think that this medallion was found in Russia, most likely it was brought from Europe. And the last question, is this the original?
