Maybe this is also a early one ? Or because it says waffen ss it just means that it is a later model. And VT was rather the usual spelling for the early types I think? This one is found in Kursk.

For sure, in my opinion, yours it's not an early LAH erkennungsmarken.
Anyway, if I remember well, also exist 2/VII with "Waffen SS" on the rear, that for sure are not so early like the same tags with "Verfungungstruppe"
