I have a question about this EKM
1. SS .V.HI . POL. 18
and underneath it says something else 1.FRW. XAX? 192
is this a total fantasy piece?
If anyone knows anything about it, please let me know, I really can't figure it out, I have a file with the abbreviations on the Erkennungsmarke, but V.HI and XAX are not listed.

FRW is an abbreviation for "Freiwillige", a Volunteer... However, I can't comment on originality...

this tag seems to be stamped incorrectly to be original...

It translates something like "1st SS V. HI. Police 18 (unit number)" over the "1st Volunteer AX roll number 192" Just too many units to be original.

SS erkennungsmarken, above all SS Polizei, had normally simple and clear abbreviation and this one is really confused.
Anyway about the orinality I think that we need better pic. In this one the engrave appears over the rust.
