I re-open this old thread to give my (absolutely personal) answer to the interesting Gazal Al Shaquab question. In my opinion indeed this my Nordkaukasiche tag is an original one.

Thank you Eike. This ekm like you see it's different from the others Ndk tags and, in general, from the different kinds of "Legion" tags. Indeed in this case the two halves are specular (like the most of "german" tags); on the contrary the Legion tags have the number and the unit name, one over the other. Only the Armenien Legion have the same specular engraving.
