Question - Real or fake SS Pz Gren Reg 2 NDL - Ruyter

Hi all,

What's your opinion about this ekm? It's from Ndl SS Pz. Gren. Rgt. 2 Ruyter. It's very thin metal, one or two tiny holes that can be seen when holding it against the light due to corrosion from being in the ground.

Copy , in my opinion. Doesn’t match known originals in lettering.

Even from these blurry photos it seems that the stamping is done over the corrosion. You can also see the halo effect that is present around the numbers and letters. Not an original erkennungsmarke in my opinion.

Thank you for the responses! In another thread i found one from the same regiment and it has "Gren" instead of this one having "GrEn". Same with Rgt vs RgT. Do ss always have "Gren" format?

I just got some photo's from a friend of mine that also bought one. Is this one also faked?

The ekm in post #1 and #5 are both copies, valueless.

I agree with Black Cat, 1 and 5 are fake. The ekm in post 4 is original.
