To get one of these engines into airworthy condition will be a huge technical challenge....I'd even just like to hear one running on the ground !

Came from a crash in New Brunswick during the war , my Great Uncle was RCAF and a packrat .

He also had a gun camera and two 303. Brownings and all kinds of other stuff that I missed out on .

But I have a few other odds and ends I'll try to dig out . Thanks for the help .

There should be government funding for a project like this. Then again, they would rather give away tax payers money to pop groups in the Third World

    Thumbs up

Well, after reading the update in this months' FlyPast magazine, I've taken the plunge, broken through my apathy, and joined the Supporters Club.....

I'll admit to being initially sceptical, but the HTPG have acquired a serious engine which is quite an achievement in itself ( if you think Knights Crosses are rare, try finding a Napier Sabre ! ).

There's many a slip 'twixt cup and lip in the world of aircraft restoration, but this is one I'm happy to support.
