Here is a fake Moscow medal that I was able to find. Mine looks a lot more crisp and detailed in comparison...

Oyyy... my adventure in collecting Soviet medals is turning into a real headache... At least we can turn this into a learning experience for all!

When the Moscow Medal arrives I will take better pictures, including close-ups of the ring.

Dom, would you be able to offer your opinion on my Victory Over Germany medal? If authentic, which version is it?

Here is another fake I found from Trident Military. This one seems better in terms of quality of detail:

They do even fake Victory over Germany Medals: I have held one in hand, it had a casting seam around the edge.
