General Question for Researching

Hello! I am in the wondering of how I would research some of my orders. I have asked a few people and had good responses, but would like a more general view from a few other people.
I have a few military orders and a few that are not. How would I research a ORB with just the serial number or research Order of Friendship with just the serial number?
