Medals in Victory Parade in 1945
I recently watched the 1945 Parade video that was posted on YouTube, a HD video when there was the 75th Anniversary. It made me wonder about the medals that were worn on that day. Does anyone have examples in their own collections, of orders and medals that were worn during the parade? Perhaps do you have a screenshot/image of that soldier in the parade wearing the same medal? I would love to see them!
Also, is it ever possible to buy these awards? How is it known these awards were worn by recipients during the parade - is there info on each participant of the parade? Thank you for any questions answered. Good day?

VasOnAritz,
If you're referring to the Red Army's victory day parade yes, you can purchase many of the same medals and orders worn. However, not sure if you could link an order or medal back to a victory day participant. I guess it's possible. But in all my years of collecting Red Army orders and medals I have never come across one that is linked to a verified individual in the parade. For me, never really considered it as a plus or minus in making my decision in purchasing an order or medal.

Awesome, thank you! I’ll have a look and maybe find more information about it, maybe see if Russian forums have too.

I have an OG II worn on the Victory parade.

Full Glory cavaliers participating in the Victory parade are all known and mentioned in the book regarding full Glory cavaliers. With that also their serial numbers for all three Glory awards are mentioned. An easy way to see if your Glory awards are being worn on the Victory parade.
