It is a very beautiful and interesting collection of Soviet orders and medals. Please do not put them aside again because they are worth it to be seen.
The period 1993/1994 was a very good time to buy Soviet WWII medals and militaria.
it was just a few years after the revolution in Eastern Europe. The people there were fed up with communism and the Russians. Everything that was Russian was thrown away. Soviet militaria, cars and even airplanes could be bought for a small amount.
During that time I regularly came to Bulgaria. In the antique shops there you could buy nice things for little money. It was also before the introduction of Internet sales.
Times change. Now I see Soviet medals sold for ridiculous prices.
Thanks Guys !
Unfortunatly I learned throught the forum that the Ushakov medal was a fake...
Some fakes were already done in 1193/1994...
Hello,
Would you please take a look this medals.
Are this real or fake?
I did some research and for me they look good, but I'm not professional.
Any help?
Thank you.
Uhh it's better for you if you make a new post for that instead of resurrecting a years old one.
Very beautiful collection. If you ever need any research let me know).
Nice collection. Congrats.
