Hi Chris, postwar stuff is not my speciality and the quality is nothing like as good as wartime badges and insignia. But I think these are OK?
Cheers, Ade.

Looks good to me, model 55 manufacturing quality is still excellent.
Victory factory , Moscow
Would that be the date of manufacture (55) or just the model number ?
Just the model , he was replaced in 1964
The instructors' parachute.
As the others have said it's an original para instructor's badge. Issued from 1955 through 1966 and made by the Pobeda (Victory) factory in Moscow.
There were three grades of these para badges; lowest was basic jumper with a plain white canopy and no ring on the bottom for numbered pendants, middle ground was for 'excellent parachutist' with that term on the canopy and then highest was this for 'instructor parachutist'.
Nice badge. Not terribly rare but a *lot* less common that the '66 models.
Thanks for the extra information , I always like Soviet Para items , but wasn't sure about this with all the remakes out there . I have a Para beret with the tags still on it , I'll post it sometime to see what you all think . thanks again .
cheers Chris
