Just got the research back for this one!

Two Soviet WWII Medals for Review. Military Merit & Valor.

This medal belonged to a Leningrader... a Master Sergeant/ Squad commander in the 115th Independent Anti-Tank Battalion, 13th Dąbrowski Rifle Division.

    He also received:
Medal for the Defense of Leningrad.
Medal for the Liberation of Prague.
Medal for Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

    Here is the citation:

Short, concrete description of the personal combat feat or merits:

Serving as an anti-tank rifle squad leader he showed himself a bold and resourceful commander. During the fighting on the Oder bridgehead he was located among the infantry formations. With his anti-tank rifle he personally destroyed a machine-gun position, and with his personal weapon he killed 3 enemy soldiers. Through his actions he supported the infantry’s advance. He has been participating in the Patriotic War since 1941. He deserves to be awarded the Medal for Courage.

    Hi guys,

YES! I am absolutely thrilled with the citation. The citation for the other medal is still pending. It couldn't be found in the Soviet Army or Air Force archives... there is still a chance that it's in the Navy archive. If not, that means that the medal belonged to a member of the NKVD or similar organization. If that's the case, I probably wont be able to get the citation...

Hey. I took liberty pinging the CSM 2030038.
Same result as before - not available. It is not in the navy range either.
It is most likely NKVD long service medal. Thus not researchable.
