Hi everyone. I have been researching and cataloguing my collection during lockdown, and have drawn a bit of a blank with a couple of my shell cases, particularly on the makers' ID.
First one is a 1916 dated 18 pounder shell. The date is pretty obvious, and I know the CF means cordite filled, but I am struggling with the other marks, especially the HJT, and I cannot identify the maker:1916 18 pounder / 1942 105mm shell ID help

The second one is a US (I think) 105mm Howitzer shell. Not much idea about the very simplistic markings on this one at all!

I think HJT is the LOT details and the 3 letters above that the manufacturer of the case.
