    Hello to all,

I was wondering if anyone could identify The markings on this shell case which I think is an 88mm WW2 German shell case.
I would like to find out more if possible88mm Artillery Shell Case markings?88mm Artillery Shell Case markings?88mm Artillery Shell Case markings?
I can all see a very faint oval stamp on the side, but you can't make anything out.

If 'eec' is a wartime manufacturer code, it would be for Gebr. Buehler Nachfolger, Triberg. At least according to the database I often reference.
Many 88mm casings were repainted by the Norwegians for postwar use. They usually have stenciled lettering on the side.
