Hi Gina, welcome to the forum! Nice to have another female member here
I don't have a clue what it is. But a rough idea of it's size might be helpful.
Cheers, Ade.
Always first in there Ade
and welcome to the forum Gina, I have no idea what this possibly might be, but a little bit of info about where you found it and what size it is would be a great help to identifying it.
Thanks
Danny
hi
Ade. thanks for a prompt reply!
it seems to be made of cast iron, it was quite muddy n rusty, im still working on cleaning it!...seems to have these prominant arch shapes on 4 sides, one has a hole (as seen in picture),....
measurments are approx: 2 inches high, and 4 inches wide, it has a solid cast base!
thanks
hi guys...i wasnt sure if i could mention where i found it!
It was , camps were set up there for the canadians, in ww1, and ww2...all buildings etc have been demolished...there is local talk of candian military vehicles being burried there too!

Looks to be some sort of nut perhaps? Are there any threads inside?
no,no threads inside...it also solid base!!
oh well, maybe i shall find something more interesting over the weekend!!
thanks guys!
Looks somewhat like an end cap. The piece on the side looks like it would be slid into a receiver and secured with a bolt into the detent.
This is really a first for me, Ade usually know's the answer in the first milisecond.
