Article about: all i can say on this is it is dated 1918 makers name is wilkie and paul stands 6in tall unsure if it isa toy ?? or used in ww1 so what can it be????

    Although I understand his lack of manners may be of issue, should the fact that he may have live ordnance on his desk be more of a concern? Although I know very little in this area, it appears to be of similar style to an incendiary bomb.

    This was resolved (sort of) since he made two threads

    Assuming he bought from within the UK it would of been inert

    thank you to all on this . i do thank you for the help . but live ???? 6in long it is top heavy the makers made biscuit tins

    how can this be live ??i do hope not ,how do i test

    dated 1918 ?? just unsure on the damage it would do , about 1in heavy at the bottom no fuzze ??

    Just a guess,maybe it was a message container to be thrown out of a reconaisense plane? To direct artillery fire?
