U.S. Garand Ammo

Article about: Some mixed ammo for the Garand rifle.

    Just the way the top and bottom are scooped like that, it almost looks like a loading sled for firing single rounds. Part of the course of fire here is 20 rounds prone, slow fire. This would make it easier to load them...hmm, I wonder. I have to check now lol

    Seeing that you served in the US Army in the same period as me (in the Hellenic Army), what type were the sidearms ; the M9 or the fabled .45 ? I was issued a M1911A1 COLT that probably still serves...
