It looks like a rim fire??? I have a book I can look at tonight that has every small arms catridge until 1975. It's a great reference book. This one should be in there, I'll let you know.
Burt
I suppose that it's not a drill cartridge Pete, because if i shake it i hear something like powder inside.
Anyway, thanks for answers. aghs
Two more unknown cartridges:
first looks like a small British shotgun cartridge dated 12-1944, 14mm x 55mm and the second is a mauser 7.92x57mm stamped BT 3 36 (who is "BT" fabricator and from which country?).
thanks for your answers, aghs
Not British, ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) ANZAC Australia - New Zealand.
Best Regards,
Andy
