    Nice tidy bayonet Dave. The pommel marks as I read them are; initially issued to 1st Battalion East Surrey Regiment and this was weapon 423 (may have had an earlier issue number), all this crossed out when it was reissued to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers (WF) and weapon number 40. A few barely visible marks I can't make out., Enfield inspection mark on blade spine.
