Yep, it is indeed a South African made No.9, made by ARMSCOR, they usually have no markings on them.Unfullered No9 - Why is it Unfullered and who would have used these? I had a feeling its South African
Now you just need a securing tab for your No4. This is what they used when it was first issued to keep it from falling out of the 1907 frog.

Does anyone have anymore suggestions on the chromed Remington? Initially, i thought that perhaps someone had found a semi relic bayonet and "tarted" it up. But there appears to be no pitting to the blade/metal components of the handle and the markings are still very much visible. The grips are professionally done in my opinion.
