Grandpa's bayonet reads J. Sch on one side of blade and 4 6 2 a on the other side. I'm guessing the case is not a match since it reads: E.u.F. Horster 1940 with 6515 on the other side. My questions are: How do I clean it? Would it have been issued from Canadian army, or would he have picked it up whilst in Belgium, France, or another location. I'm not sure where he served during WWII. Thank you. Sorry, I cannot figure out how to post the pictures.
