    This was a friend of mine's "Dachbodenfund", "attic find", which he thought came from ww2. Not sure what it is.. seems to be a bit cheaply made, and finished in a strange chrome..

    all in all, its making me think its fake. Dont mind if it is, just want some closure.. can't seem to find one online.

    Greetings PF,

    Google "German S14 Bayonet," there are both variants with rounded and squared fullers. That's what I'd go with until someone else could be more conclusive.

    I agree with Lance. A private purchase "walking out" S14, dating from early WW1 period, nickel plated. The tip has been reshaped.
