    As far, as I know, such pattern survival knives were/are still (?) carried/introduced in the
    СпН, Спецназ, подразделение специального назначения Российской Федерации
    GRU Spezialnoje Nasnatschenje (GRU SpezNas),

    Again, my question, a knife introduced in the SPEZNAS , (Speznaz), the OMON , ... , or, "only" manufactured by Izhmash for "civilian use" (private use) ? ...

    Good evening. I'll give you my opinion. The concepts – " used in units...." and " is in service..." ... are completely different. To advertise their products, some manufacturers write different things. But on the " equipment (armament) of the troops..."there are no such knives. And if they were a small party, then as an experiment. As a special case.

    Thx. a lot, but, now I do know, or, don´t know, (nothin´), more, or less, than before ...

    It is military grade, commercial knife.

    Aside individual army personel who use it, likely allowed for NCO's and officers in service, but not adopted by military.

    I got mine when they were "new" in the market 2007. ~120€ back then, so it was likely too expensive for conscripts to gain it.
