Article about: Has anybody seen German m1989 shortened in such way ? Or is it still German - if not, to wich country it may belong?

    Hello,

    you mean the Seitengewehr (18)98 ? ...

    but... this is a peruvian M1909. Easy to recognize at the number an the crossguard and often by the peruvian crest on the top of the pommel.
    This bayonet never made service in a german army. It is a export product.

    The shorting is also typical for Peru.

    Thank You - off course I meant m1898..
    I just really have to less my everydays drinking :-(
