I picked up a nice example of a US M7 bayonet made by Bauer Ordnance Corp (BOC) According to Cunningham the first M7 contract was issued to Bauer in 1968 with a total production of 1,835,392 produced. This is a good example noting the heavy milling marks on the blade by this manufacturer. The M10 Scabbard was a replacement for the M8A1. This was most likely replaced later in its life and did not arrive together. The scabbard was produced in the first run of M10 scabbards starting in 1985 to 1986 by Imperial Schrade Corp. Overall a good example to use for future collectors.
