I could not find one when searching. This is a good example of a US M7 Bayonet made by General Cutlery. General Cutlery had three contracts to produce the M7 bayonet in the mid to late 1980's. This is not a Vietnam era bayonet. There were only 5 producers that would be considered to be a Vietnam era bayonet, Columbus Milpar & Manufacturing (Milpar), Conetta, Bauer Ordnance Company, (BOC), Frasier, and early Colt M7 with Square back cut only. Imperial contracts were issued in 1973 but likely never made it to theater. IMHO this was the most overproduced (above required for use) bayonet in US history. Millions were made and can still be found in original packaging or un-issued condition without a large premium. Very nice examples can still be bought in the US for $60 (at the time this was written) if you work just a little bit. All opinions or corrections are appreciated.
