Hello, I recently bought this helmet super duper cheap.

Helmet shell is late ww2, swivel bale and has Korean war paint painted over the ww2 paint.

But the liner, what is it?
It is light blue and sadly is missing the chinstrap.

    Any help would be appreciated
Has an N in a circle stamped in the crown

This fiber liner, marked N in circle, appears to be a German produced (Schuberth) and Dutch air force used. You'll find that the nape strap is stitched on one side with press buttons on the other side.

These N marked helmets date from the sixties and were used by The Netherlands in olive green and air force grey. The liner does not mate with the steel shell. The Dutch used different buckles on the chinstrap. The Dutch shell's were mostly marked in the rim.

    Cheers,
    Emile
