Article about: MKII with a sand texture over paint, showing through the over paint is a gold fleur-de-lis . Possibly the Manchester Regiment. On the under side of the rim front and back is a serial number

    Thanks for the info on the decals. Does anyone know why only certain Regiments put decals on there helmets.

    They might have been done at Regimental expense hence some had them while others did not.

    Unfortunately not. A lucky Canadian collector found 80 different decals - all from the same manufacturer. A dream find !
