    Unusually the wife was talking about a child's toy helmet, saying, "how cute".
    Whether her head was turned by that World renowned Author of. Helmets of the Home Front?
    Well it was a baking hot day back in July.

    Anyway one came along and she is now the proud owner of one helmet, although it is in mine room.

    Very basic in design, I'm sure it would have given a lot pleasure to whoever owned it at that time, and probably later too.

    What a fine lady....I knew she had class....and taste!

    I nice piece too (the helmet!)...really crudely made tho and a court case waiting to happen in this day and age but in those days if you cut yourself on something sharp it was considered your own stupid fault....nowadays they sue the manufacturers!

    Ground breaking, they had children in Germany too.
    Would they be original decals as used by the army?
    Great looking helmet.
