Harrison Bros & Howson 1938 MK2 Helmet

Hi All,

Another find today. A nice early 1938 dated Harrison Bro's & Howson MK2 helmet. This has a 1938 dated Vero Liner, that is strangely riveted to the shell. It also appears to have been painted in a very dark green Belgian paint. I think I see the remenants of the Belgian Flash on the side.
However it's always nice to get an early dated shell with the clipped corner chinstrap lugs and early liner.

Unfortunately the chinstrap has been replaced with a plastic type of thing with "BRITISH" on the buckles.

The true colour can be seen better on the picture of the chinstap lugs and in the background of the buckle photo.

I will take better photos as soon as I get a chance off work, it's getting late here and lighting was not the best when I got back.
