Hi guys, here's what looks at first glance like a Hood Rubber Company 's liner because of that circle in the dome. Hood Rubber Company's markings is a stamped HR. Not showing here.
I can't identify that UU manufacturer markings in this liner. The Japanese got supplied from the USA in the creation of their National Police Reserve (read army ) in the early 50s. My question is who's this manufacturer's symbol? Any information is welcome. Thanks.

Have you compared the silhouette of the liner against known American ones? I have a liner used by the JGSDF I believe was manufactured by Japan Bakelite and there is a noticeable difference in the shape of the rim.

My question here is trying to identify this liner's manufacturer mark. Liners were easily interchangeable, here is a translation found in a Japanese blog: " I remember that during my first semester of education, the M1 inner hat (that is the one where the fibers can be seen through from the back side) and the Type 66 inner hat were mixed, but I do not remember the outer hat because I had no knowledge or interest in identifying it at that time. "

What makes you believe that your liner was manufactured by Japan Bakelite?
