Quite hard to find the carrier, and in good condition.
Helmets not to bad either, bet there are a few other markings under that white paint.

Nice FG ! In fact all the helmets you have being showing have been nice. I hope there are lots more to follow !
Nicely marked home front helmet, shell and liner both dated 1941.
I had one like this many moons ago, absolutely no idea of what the markings were for.
Yep, I've been seeing these for years too.....no idea either...... but my latest theory...and it IS my theory...... is that dinosaurs are thin at one end....errrr....no...thats the OTHER theory......that the white panel at the front was for something temporay to be written on........or for visibilty (thats 3 theories!).......or possibly he worked for a Company called "The White Rectangle Company Ltd" (ok, thats 4 theories now)......ooo...ooh...how about someone went back in time and painted a batch up just to confuse us all.....well, thats what my life feels like every damn day!!!! :-)
'nice tho.....
