Yellow is normally associated with gas, but I've never seen it done in this style. But you know what a variety there was with home front helmets, would definitely have stood out.

I had that helmet on my watch list. I did place a bid on it, but the price climbed too high for me.

....funny thing is...it probably sold for what one COULDN'T see rather than what one could! I had a really good punt but I guess the other guys wanted it more. Sooooooooooo rare.
