My M26 Adrian - Infantry

Article about: My first and only French helmet, got it off the bay a few months ago. I always knew France put a lot of character into the construction of these helmets, even with the M26 being simplified.

    My first and only French helmet, got it off the bay a few months ago.

    I always knew France put a lot of character into the construction of these helmets, even with the M26 being simplified. Having one in person has given me a new appreciation for French lids. Although my collection consists primarily of M1s and stahlhelms, this has to be one of my favorites!

    It seems to retain much of its original green finish, the badge itself being a brighter shade, and a small blemish of rust near the front of the fin.

    From what I've been told, the liner is an early postwar type. I would appreciate more info on Adrian liners

    Hello

    Very nice 26/37 helmet.
    The colour is logicaly more green than brown, the insigna is 37 and concequently to top is a little longer than with early m26.

    The liner is for the Civil defense. but it can fit for the late war periode

    You may have stamps inside the helmet telling you the producer
