The most common British Mk2 used post war was probably the ones used by the Irish.
Apart from the paint used, I think everything else is British WW2 made.

Israel also refurbished the British Mk2 post war, and the South African Mk2. They also refurbed the Mk3.
Going by the chin strap lug,this looks like a Canadian Mk2 refurbished by the Dutch for their CD.
With the old style liner, which you sometimes also see in the refurbished civilian protective helmet.

My guess is WW2 British Mk2, the half moon & star being added later.
Thought to be either Turkish or Algerian.
