    The webbing is reproduction (at least the nape strap is) and I suspect the D bales are also reproductions. The tactical marking for the 326th Engineer Bn is also post war applied. The CAPAC liner might otherwise be alright.

    Need better pictures of the helmet liner separated from the helmet, better pictures of the chin cup, but from what I am seeing much of the liner has post war repro parts added..

    The helmet looks alright but again the bales look like they were added later..

    Tankdestroyer is a member here and he will hopefully see this thread and post his comments..

    The chin strap on the steel helmet is also reproduction and as said the bales are not original. I think it is reenactors helmet.

    The heat stamp range for a M2 D loop to is no higher than 235 if memory serves me correct.
    The other members are correct on their assessment, the helmet is a WW2 production and was a fixed loop when it was made.
