Guys,
Find today, I thought I would take it as I don't have any representation from the 'Cheese eating surrender monkeys' (just joking before I'm lynched)

Hi Jock, yes French M26. I think you are correct on the arm of service.
Cheers, Ade.
Salty but 100% original piece. Many of these badges were fixed later on what can indicate that it does not totally fit perfect.
Let me know if you want to let this puppy go.
Very, very nice example, I would love this one in my collection
Viva la M26
nice French M26 with a early artillery badge, definitely a wartime piece
the badge is WWI era but they continued using these during early WWII
Guys,
Thank you all for the confirmation, I will hold on to it but if I see any more I will pick them up for the interested parties.
Thanks again.
Jock
be careful, many have postwar liners and badges.
it may look a little rough but it's original and complete with liner, chin strap, badge, hard to find these with all the original parts , usually somethings missing.
the adjustment string can be easily replaced with a old black shoe lace, the originals used a black shoe lace type string also.
